Tim Steed (born December 30, 1957) is an American comedian, author, screenwriter, songwriter, and keynote speaker. In 2007, he got married to alice patten (who acted in bollywood movie Rang de basanti). ==Biography== Tim Steed was born December 30, 1957 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated Bearden High School in 1975 and soon after joined the U.S. Army, where he was a member of the 101st Airborne Division in a combat support company. He was discharged under honorable conditions after a year and returned home to Knoxville. He bounced around various colleges and odd jobs until he landed at Roane State Community College in Knoxville. There he discovered acting and started writing and performing stand-up comedy. He later transferred to the University of Tennessee, took as many acting and speech classes as he could and entered the university comedy contest and was deemed the runner-up for "funniest person on campus." During his time at U.T., Steed met a group of local improvisational actors called ''On the Edge'' and helped take them from local theater to Public-access television. He still had a dream of doing both comedy and television on a larger scale so in 1990, he moved from Tennessee to Orlando, Florida to work in television. He helped launch WRBW, where he did everything from writing to producing to hosting shows. He was still doing stand-up comedy at this time performing at the Comedy Zone, Hilarities, and the Comedy Hous across the Southeastern part of the U.S. In 1998, he moved to Nashville, TN and worked for a short stint with Earnhardt Productions, a local video and television production company. During this period, also known as "The Blue Period", he gave up doing stand-up comedy and just focused on producing, writing, and acting. Then was contacted by Monster.com to speak to high schools and colleges and for the next few years he toured the country doing just that. He took that experience and began speaking for corporations and doing corporate training for such companies as Fred Pryor Seminars and National Seminars. It was then Steed began rewriting his stand-up comedy act and taking his special brand of humor to the road. In 2008 he appeared at The Improv in Los Angeles, California. In 2011 Steed was nominated for Inspirational Country Music Awards Comedian of the year. His screenplay, Spike Driver Blues, won Best Screenplay the New Hampshire Film Festival in late 2010. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Tim Steed」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
